Please join me in welcoming JPO to the Two Selves family! JPO has been a longtime friend of the gallery, and we are thrilled that he's joining us for this journey!
JPO, or John Paul O'Grodnick, is an inspired visual street artist and canvas painter based in New York City. JPO's imagery is creatively derived from a zealous meditation practice and is known for translating emotions and human perception into vibrant and expressive paintings. JPO's passion for the arts was developed at a young age, and in large part was born from his family's eclectic tastes and love of improvisational music and meditation. This influence is apparent in his free-flowing and powerful murals in which his bright splashes of color convey a sense of raw emotion and wonderment unique to his style of painting.
JPO's work has been featured on famous walls in New York City and in galleries across the country. In addition, JPO frequently collaborates with other well-known street artists such as BD White to create amazing pieces that are featured prominently throughout New York. JPO has also done commercial collaborations with high profile brands such as GAP, Coach, Puma, MTV, The Grammys, Lululemon, Saks Fifth Ave. and Maxim Magazine.
