Welcome RoamCouch!

Hey Friends!

We feel absolutely honored to welcome Ryo Ogawa (perhaps better known as RoamCouch) to the Two Selves Family! RoamCouch is an artist we have followed and enjoyed for many years, so we are incredibly stoked to work with him and offer some very special pieces to our collectors.

Ryo is an extremely talented street stencil artist and painter based in Japan. On the street, he produces incredibly detailed murals which employ sometimes hundreds of hand-cut stencils that often evoke feelings of youth, romance, and serenity.

In the studio, RoamCouch creates modern pieces by blending his signature stencil art style with the use of traditional Japanese handmade paper, "mino washi." RoamCouch also often infuses his intricate creations with additional hand finished elements such as tags, which are more commonly associated with street art.

RoamCouch's works have been displayed and exhibited around the world and his talent has consistently been met with sold out shows and rave reviews from art collectors and aficionados alike. In addition to his hard-to-get originals, RoamCouch maintains an almost cult-like following with collectors clamoring for his newest print releases often featuring high-demand hand-embellished variants.

Today, we are very excited to announce that RoamCouch and Two Selves Gallery have teamed up to provide our collectors with some exclusive artwork we think you will enjoy! This means new original pieces, revisited favorites, hand-embellished pieces, and some other cool print projects that will blow you away!

Some of this exclusive art can be found in RoamCouch's Gallery on our website immediately! But for others you'll have to keep a watchful eye on our newsletters to get the latest info and updates. You can also reach out to us if you want to learn more about RoamCouch, have commission ideas, or have any inquiries into his work. We are always here to talk art.

Again, welcome to the family RoamCouch! We are pleased to have you here.

Much love
